As you all may have noticed, we keep making regular updates to Viberent functionality. This includes new functionality and updates to existing functionality. There have been number of improvements made to Viberent system. We list them below.
Select Items in Quotes screens including Images
In the Quote/Estimate screen and Rental Transaction screen, you can now turn on the tick-box “Show Image” to show default images set for your rental inventory items. See sample below. If you don’t wish to see the images, simply un-tick “Show image”.
Print Quote/Transaction excluding discount column
Some customers have requested that the Discount column is not shown on the print-out from Quote and Transaction while some customers who provide discounts wanted to retain the Discount column. In order to satisfy both groups, we have now provided option to Hide the discount column when generating print-outs from Quotes and Rental screens.
Extend Transactions in Rental Screen
Previously, in order to Extend a rental transaction, the user needed to go to the Manage Transaction screen, select the relevant transaction and click the Extend button. This is now made simpler. Once a transaction is posted to accounting system (Xero or MYOB or QBO), when its time to Extend the transaction, simply Open the transaction and click the Extend button.
You can still perform the same operation in Manage Transaction screen as well. That functionality is still retained.
Showing Customer Name in Transaction Calendar
The Transaction Calendar used to show the transaction number and when you moved the mouse over the transaction, it used to show the customer name and other details. You can now choose to either show the Customer name or the Transaction number. In Configuration – General Settings menu, simply tick the text titled “Show customer name in transaction calendar”. This will show the Customer name on the Transaction Calendar screen. If you wish to see the transaction number only, you can simply untick the box.
Stock View Search Listing
You can now choose to see the Stock View listing by either Item code or Item name. Simply select the option in the Stock View screen.
